Activities every day
Each week we offer a range of optional activities included in your course. They are designed to help you practice your Spanish outside the classroom, and to get to know your classmates and teachers. They are carried out by our teachers and are basically free. Some of these didactic activities are: language exchanges, cooking classes, culture classes, Walk and Learn routes, welcome paella…
Welcome paella party
At the beginning of each week, we always celebrate our evening with a welcome paella. All the students of the school and the teachers meet and enjoy a Valencian paella. This is a perfect way to meet your classmates and teachers in a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is invited! But remember, it is essential to speak Spanish. Otherwise, you will not eat paella?
Language exchange
One of the activities we frequently organize is a language exchange so that you can speak Spanish with native speakers. There you will meet Spanish people and be able to practice what you have learned in class. At the same time you will help them to learn your language. The best way to practice Spanish and make friends with Valencia!
The teachers are amazing and the job the interns do with the activities is just as amazing. I spent 3 months there and I could not had imagined doing anywhere else. Many great and exciting activities, the best Paella

Walk & Learn
Have fun and discover the most important, symbolic buildings of Valencia’s city centre, and be entertained at the same time as you continue to learn Spanish along our marvellous routes.
Spanish cooking lessons
Every week you can attend a Spanish cooking class where you will learn, in the most fun way, to make different recipes of the Spanish gastronomy with the great Chef Nando!
Other weekly activities at extra cost
At TARONJA school, apart from the didactic and social activities included in the courses, which we have explained above, we organize many other activities during the week, such as: flamenco, tapas route, parties, dinners, cinema, theatre... We try to give our students something to do every day. Thanks to this, Taronja students will have many possibilities to get to know each other, and also the city of Valencia better, whilst practicing Spanish. These activities are optional and have an extra price, but always very reasonable and economical.
Spanish culture class
Another educational activity that we like very much is the classes on different aspects of Spanish and Hispanic culture. Be it the about most important cultural figures, the most symbolic locations, most important cities, most famous traditions and fiestas, cinema, art, or music that characterises us...
Weekends
Every weekend, we organize different activities, for example, trips to historical or touristics towns near Valencia, like Xàtiva, Sagunto, Peñíscola. We also organice trips to the La Albufera, Cullera Valencian beaches. We love to attend popular festivals, music concerts, clubs and fairs. Valencia is a county where there is a lot to do so we try not to miss anything!
