The General Contracting Conditions regulate the distance selling relationship between VILLA-HERBA SL and the user or client, in accordance with the legal stipulations, especially Law 7/1998, of 13th April, on General Contracting Conditions, Law 3/2014, of 27 March amending the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users, the regulations in force and applicable to the Protection of Personal Data, Law 7/1996 of 15 January on the Regulation of Retail Trade and Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.
VILLA-HERBA SL reserves the right to make the modifications that it considers opportune, without previous warning, in the General Conditions. These modifications will be able to be carried out, through its websites, by any form admissible in right and will be of obliged fulfillment during the time in which they are published in the web and until they are not modified validly by other later ones. Nevertheless, VILLA-HERBA SL reserves the right to apply, in certain cases, some Particular Conditions of Contracting with preference to the present General Conditions when it considers it opportune, announcing them in appropriate time and form.
The object of the web page is language classes and accommodation reservations.
The duration of the contract will be linked to the completion of the contracted service.
As a user or client, you expressly declare that you know, understand and accept the conditions of use and these general contracting conditions. Likewise, you declare that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity and ability to act necessary to access the websites of TARONJA SCHOOL and to contract through them.

It is a requirement that you register as a user of the website to make the purchase online. You can access the corresponding section for registration on the website itself. In accordance with current and applicable regulations on Personal Data Protection, TARONJA SCHOOL informs users that the personal data collected during the registration process and subsequent purchase, will be introduced into the processing system under its responsibility, in order to process such actions by the user and manage subsequent actions arising from them.
TARONJA SCHOOL informs that the processing of the data is necessary for the correct execution of the contractual relationship between the client and TARONJA SCHOOL.
Likewise, TARONJA SCHOOL informs about the possibility of exercising the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by writing to the address C/ CONVENTO SANTA CLARA, Nº10 – 1 46002, VALENCIA or through the e-mail info@taronjaschool.com.
Unless you inform us otherwise, we will understand that your data have not been modified, that you undertake to notify us of any variation and that we have the consent to use them in order to maintain the relationship between the parties.
During the purchase process you must identify yourself with the user name and password provided. These data will not be public. You are responsible for treating the identity and password obtained in the registration as a client confidentially and responsibly, and you may not give them to another person. You can modify the registered information at any time, in your customer area. In this same section you will have access to a history of your contracted services, this is only a consultation section but its management is allowed, the user can delete those records that he considers not necessary to visualize.
Once the purchase process has been completed, the customer will receive a confirmation of the same by e-mail. It is essential that during the purchase process the user indicates a valid email. Before the service is provided, the customer will receive an e-mail with the confirmation of the requested service.
Once the service has been provided, the customer will receive the corresponding invoice.
Information prior to booking
TARONJA SCHOOL informs that the booking procedure through its web pages is detailed in the corresponding section for the formalization of the reservation.
Likewise, TARONJA SCHOOL informs that the user can have access to the conditions of use available in the same web.
By booking with TARONJA SCHOOL through its website, the user or client expressly declares to know, understand and accept these conditions of use and the General Conditions. In the same way, the user declares to be of legal age and have the legal capacity to access and contract through TARONJA SCHOOL websites. The user is responsible for the confidential and responsible treatment of the identity and password obtained in the registration as a client, not being able to give them to another person.
Once the reservation is made, the user will see the confirmation of his reservation on screen, and can print it as proof of the reservation.
The booking confirmation and the booking receipt (printed by the user) will not be valid as an invoice.
OPERATION OF THE RESERVATION
Bookings offer and price reference.
In compliance with the current regulations, and especially with the Law 34/2002 of services of the information society and electronic commerce, TARONJA SCHOOL offers in the corresponding section for the formalization of the reservation information about all the possible reservations, their characteristics and prices. However, TARONJA SCHOOL reserves the right to withdraw, replace or change the offers offered to its customers through its website, by simply changing the content of them. In this way, the products and/or services offered at any time by the website of TARONJA SCHOOL will be governed by the General Conditions in force in each case. Likewise, the company will have the right to stop offering, without prior notice and at any time, access to the products and/or services mentioned.
Indication of prices.
Each possible reservation offered will have its price indicated and if it has incorporated the VAT or any other tax that, in its case, is applicable. The prices indicated on the screen will be those in force at all times except for typographical errors. When the price is different due to the above mentioned reasons, TARONJA SCHOOL will communicate it to the client, via e-mail, before proceeding with the payment of the reservation.
The availability of the offers offered by TARONJA SCHOOL through its website may vary depending on customer demand. Although TARONJA SCHOOL updates its database periodically, the reservation requested by the client could be complete at that moment. In this case, TARONJA SCHOOL will send an e-mail to the client informing him/her of the impossibility of availability.
TARONJA SCHOOL only offers its accommodation services to those clients who contract a Spanish course.
Accommodation deposit
The student must pay a cash deposit of 50€ at the school, on the first Monday after arrival, in exchange he/she will receive a receipt. This deposit will be returned on the last day of your course at the reception desk when you hand in the receipt. The deposit WILL NOT BE RETURNED to the student if he or she causes any damage due to the improper use of the apartment’s facilities. TARONJA SCHOOL reserves the right to keep the corresponding part of the deposit, in order to rectify the damage. If the damage was very serious, TARONJA will be able to claim the corresponding amount from the student to cover the cost of the damage.
Extension of the stay
If any student wants to extend their stay they should contact the school. The school will arrange the extension of the accommodation.
Changes
The student may NOT change the assigned accommodation, except in extreme cases.
Accommodation changes without a justified reason can be made on the Sunday following the week in progress, and will incur an additional cost of 50€. Any change of accommodation, without a justified reason, that requires a move on the same day will incur a cost of 120€. From the moment the student registers at TARONJA SCHOOL and chooses the apartment or studio option, it is understood that he has read and agrees with all these rules.
Regulations
TARONJA SCHOOL has some regulations and conditions of the shared apartments that the client/student will have to obey.
Minimum age
The minimum age for hiring one of the courses is 18. Minors will only be accepted in special cases. Students under 18 years of age, need their legal representative to accept the terms and conditions of TARONJA SCHOOL, in the document that TARONJA SCHOOL will provide.
Registration procedures
Once the purchase of the course is made, the client will be sent a registration form and a detailed invoice. If the client has chosen to leave a deposit as a reservation, this amount will be deducted from the total price of the course. Once the deposit of 150€ has been received, the client will be sent the invoice and the detailed information of the course as proof of registration. The rest of the course price must be fully paid 15 days before the start of the course.
Together with the invoice TARONJA SCHOOL will send its level test, so that we can assign the most appropriate class according to the client’s Spanish level.
Arrivals and departures from the accommodation
Students must inform the school 15 days in advance of their arrival in Valencia, time, flight number… This way TARONJA SCHOOL can arrange for someone to be in the accommodation to receive the student and provide him/her with the keys.
Students must arrive at the accommodation the Sunday before the course starts before 11 p.m. In case of arrival after 11 p.m. the student is obliged to pick up and pay for the airport service.
TARONJA SCHOOL will provide the student with the name and address of his/her accommodation one week before the beginning of the course. The departure from the accommodation will take place on the Saturday after the end of the course before 12 noon. It is possible to arrive or depart on different days from those mentioned above provided that the additional cost is paid.
Students who have accommodation in an apartment must pay a deposit of 50€ on the first Monday when they arrive at the school.
Airport service
TARONJA SCHOOL offers a pick-up service (arrivals-departures) from the airport at an extra cost. The client can consult the price list.
This service has to be hired always at least 3 days before the arrival of the student.
Insurance
The students are insured by TARONJA SCHOOL, within the school itself, against damages to third parties and outside the school in those activities organized by the school (Excursions, trips and activities that take place out of the school).
The students are not insured by TARONJA SCHOOL against illness, accidents, theft, damage or loss of personal belongings, so TARONJA will not accept any responsibility for any of these incidents.
The student must check if his/her country has agreements with the Spanish Social Security. Citizens of the European Union and Switzerland must obtain the EHIC, (European Health Insurance Card). This card is individual and certifies the holder’s right to receive health care during a temporary stay in any of the countries of the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
The period of validity is stated on the EHIC. Students from non-member countries must take out an international insurance policy that is valid in Spain.
Health insurance
TARONJA SCHOOL can provide health insurance to students who wish to do so at an additional cost. The student can request the price list.
Reduction in the timetable of the courses
This clause is applicable to all courses in general:
The maximum number of students per class is 12, and the minimum is 4. If the number of students per class is less than or equal to 4, the school reserves the right to reduce the total number of class lessons by half.
If the student does not want to accept this clause, he/she is only entitled to receive a refund of the amount corresponding to the number of lessons reduced.
Examples of reductions:
-Intensive course
The INTENSIVE course consists of 20 lessons of 50 minutes per week.
The reduction of 20 lessons per week of intensive course of 50 minutes (in total 1000 minutes) would be reduced by half: 500 minutes per week. Divided into two 50-minute lessons per day
HOLIDAYS
TARONJA SCHOOL will not give classes on days considered as holidays in the city of Valencia. These days can be consulted in the calendar in the manual and in the TARONJA SCHOOL web page: www.taronjaschool.com
The student may not demand any financial compensation for this.
TIMETABLES
TARONJA SCHOOL expects the student to comply with the schedule of classes and activities, thus respecting the rest of their classmates. Students must complete and send us the Level Test at least one week before the beginning of the course.
The lessons are 50 minutes.

We have rotating schedules, for example some groups will have classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. This will change every week, so all students will be able to enjoy two free mornings and three free afternoons or vice versa, every week.
First day of class
On the first Monday of the course the student will go directly to the school at the following time:
MORNING SHIFT: The student will come to the school at 08:30
AFTERNOON SHIFT: The student will come to school at 14:00
The student will go to the reception where he/she will receive his/her welcome pack and will be accompanied to the information meeting where he/she will be informed of the class assigned to him/her according to his/her level. At 9:00 or 14:30, depending on the shift of your course, the student will start his Spanish classes directly.
Didactic material
Class material is included in the price for levels A0, A1, A2 and B1. For levels B2 and C1 it will be necessary to buy a book provided by the school.
Diplomas
All students who have taken a course at TARONJA SCHOOL will receive a diploma of their studies at the end of their course. This diploma follows the guidelines of the Instituto Cervantes in combination with the European Framework of Reference for Languages. To obtain the diploma, it is essential that the student has attended at least 80% of the classes.
Rules of behaviour
TARONJA SCHOOL expects the student to comply with basic rules of behaviour that affect both the school and the different types of accommodation offered. Inappropriate or unacceptable behaviour by the student will be sufficient reason for an expulsion, without any kind of economic refund. TARONJA SCHOOL is the only one with the criteria to judge what is negative or not. The students are responsible for the material damage caused by them, having to answer financially for them.
From the moment the student registers at TARONJA SCHOOL, it is understood that he has read and agrees with all the above mentioned.
The enrolment in a course at TARONJA SCHOOL implies the acceptance of these rules.
Characteristics, offer and validity of the services
The services offered in our online shop, are detailed the essential characteristics of the same ones.
In the case of a service on offer, the offer price and the validity of the offer will always be indicated along with its essential characteristics.
In compliance with current regulations TARONJA SCHOOL offers information about all its services, their characteristics and prices. However, TARONJA SCHOOL reserves the right to withdraw, replace or change the services offered through its website, by simply changing the content of the website. In this way, the services offered at any time by the website will be governed by the General Conditions of Contract in force in each case. Likewise, the company will have the right to stop offering, without previous notice and at any time, the access to the mentioned services.
Guarantees
All the services offered on the website are guaranteed according to the type of service, and the time and form of the services requested.

Prices
All services indicate the selling price in Euros and include the Value Added Tax (VAT).
If any other tax is applicable, this will be indicated (IGIC or IPSI).
Costs and provision of services
The customer can contract the courses through two options:

You need to send an advance payment of 150€. The rest of the course must be paid two weeks before the start.
Methods of payment and execution of the service
The customer may pay for the service in any of the following ways. During the purchase process must indicate their choice:
– Credit card VISA or MASTERCARD
All operations involving the transmission of personal or banking data are carried out using a secure environment, a server based on standard security technology SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). All the information you transmit to us travels encrypted through the network.
Likewise, your credit card details are entered directly on the bank’s website, at the POS (Point of Sale Terminal) and are not entered or recorded on any TARONJA SCHOOL server.
When paying by VISA or MASTERCARD you will always be asked for the following data: the card number, the expiry date, and a Validation Code that coincides with the last 3 digits of the number printed in italics on the back of your VISA or MASTERCARD, thus offering more guarantees about the security of the transaction.
This form of payment is only valid on the web.
When the amount of a purchase has been fraudulently or improperly charged using a payment card number, the cardholder can demand the immediate cancellation of the charge. In this case, the corresponding debit and credit entries on the supplier’s and cardholder’s accounts will be made as soon as possible.
However, if the purchase had been effectively carried out by the holder of the card and the demand of return was not a consequence of having exercised the right of withdrawal or of resolution and, therefore, it had demanded unduly the cancellation of the corresponding charge, that one will be obliged in front of VILLA-HERBA SL to the indemnification of the damages caused as consequence of the above mentioned cancellation.
VILLA-HERBA SL commits itself to carry out the service in a maximum of days, from the day following the request of benefit of the same one.
The availability of services offered by TARONJA SCHOOL may vary depending on the service. In case of non-execution due to unavailability, TARONJA SCHOOL will notify the client by e-mail as soon as it becomes aware of this situation. The period of this communication will not exceed the maximum period of 30 days. TARONJA SCHOOL may give the client the double option of: offering the client, without an increase in price, a service of similar characteristics or superior quality, or unless there are justified and demonstrable reasons by TARONJA SCHOOL within this same period, pay the amounts paid for the cancelled service. In case TARONJA SCHOOL does not make this payment within the indicated period, the buyer may claim for double payment of the amount due, without prejudice to his right to be compensated.
Cancellations
PANDEMIC: during the pandemic we accept cancellations up to one week before the start of the course.
For internal organizational reasons, cancellations must be notified to TARONJA SCHOOL in writing. For cancellations made 30 days before the start of the course, the school will refund the student the payments made except for the 45€ of the registration fee which will remain during the current year in the student’s balance, for a possible later course during that year. At the end of the year this amount will be transferred to the school’s account.
For cancellations made 15 days before the start of the course, the school will return to the student the payments made except for the 150€ deposit that will remain during the current year in the student’s account, for a possible later course during that year. At the end of the year this amount will be transferred to the school’s account.
For cancellations made less than 15 days before the start of the course, the school will return to the student only 60% of the total price of the course, the remaining 40% will remain during the current year in the student’s account, for a possible later course during that year. At the end of the year this amount will be transferred to the school’s account.
In no case will the amount of the course be refunded once the course has started. Of course, the cases of illness of the student or a close relative, always guaranteed by a medical certificate, will be taken into account as special. TTARONJA SCHOOL reserves the right to cancel courses with fewer reservations than necessary, in these cases the student will be refunded the full amount paid.
Delay in the beginning of the course
If a student arrives later than the start date, or misses class days at his/her own risk, he/she will not be able to demand any kind of economic refund from TARONJA SCHOOL. That is to say, when the student does not attend class, he will not have the opportunity to make up for it. Only if the student has to miss a whole week and wants to make up the missed week, he/she must notify the head of studies one week in advance in case he/she can make up this week later by joining an existing group.
Right of withdrawal, reimbursement of payment and claims
The customer will have a minimum period of fourteen calendar days to withdraw, from the day of conclusion of the contract, without any penalty and without indicating the reasons.
The exercise of the right of withdrawal must be made by means of notification by telephone to 963258545, addressing the e-mailinfo@taronjaschool.com,sending your letter to our postal address C/ CONVENTO SANTA CLARA, Nº10 – 1 46002, VALENCIA, or through the withdrawal form.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 103 of Law 3/2014, of 27 March, which modifies the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users, the supplies of services or goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, or which, due to their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly, are exempt from withdrawal.
If the customer requests the provision of the service to begin during the withdrawal period, the customer shall be obliged to pay the amount in proportion to the part of the service provided at the time he communicates his withdrawal, in relation to the subject matter of the contract.
Reimbursement of payment
The refund of the amounts received by the customer will be made using the same means of payment employed by the customer, unless otherwise stipulated.
TARONJA SCHOOL will pay the sums paid by the customer within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the right of withdrawal.
In case of unjustified delay by TARONJA SCHOOL, regarding the return of the paid amounts, the client can claim double the paid amounts, without prejudice to the right to be compensated for damages suffered in excess of this amount.
Claim
If the client wishes to file a complaint, the TARONJA SCHOOL establishment is located in C/ CONVENTO SANTA CLARA, Nº10 – 1 46002, VALENCIA or by e-mailinfo@taronjaschool.com.
Jurisdiction
TARONJA SCHOOL also reserves the right to bring any civil or criminal actions it deems appropriate for the improper use of its website and contents or for the breach of these conditions.
The relationship between the user and the provider will be governed by the regulations in force and applicable in the Spanish territory. If any dispute arises, the parties may submit their conflicts to arbitration or resort to ordinary jurisdiction in compliance with the rules on jurisdiction and competence in this regard.
