The city of Valencia
Because its size is ideal (1 million inhabitants): It has the same cultural, leisure and transport services (metro, bus, tram, public bicycle…) as a large metropolis but with a much smaller size. Easy and comfortable to live!
Historic center
Between the 14th and 15th centuries it was one of the most important and richest cities in Europe. You can find a large number of impressive buildings, monuments, cultural events and also a great nightlife. Valencia is certainly one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, beautiful, clean and VERY SAFE. Also, it is not an expensive city, compared to other Spanish cities.
The beach
A few minutes from the centre are the beautiful beaches of Malvarrosa and Patacona. They are two excellent urban beaches of fine golden sand, wide, extensive and open. The quantity and quality of the services offered is very large and you can find numerous restaurants and cafes in the surroundings, many of them specialized in paella. It is a dream to have such beaches in the city!
CITY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
This futuristic “city within a city” is considered one of the most surprising and imaginative architectural projects in the world. It contains the Oceanográfico, the City of Sciences, the Hemisférico and the Palace of Arts. By the way, remember that everyone in the city of Valencia speaks standard Spanish, with a Spanish accent.
Weather
Valencia enjoys a very pleasant Mediterranean climate with 7 months of heat a year. The average annual temperature is 22ºC with warm summers and mild winters, rarely below 12ºC. Autumns are slightly rainy, as are early springs. Enjoy this good weather in the old bed of the Turia River, the largest urban park in Spain and one of the favorite places of the Valencians, you will be speechless! You’ll be speechless!
