We have rotating schedules, for example:
Some groups will have classes on Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings and Thursday and Friday afternoons. This schedule will change the following week so that all students can enjoy “2 free mornings” and “3 free afternoons” each week, and vice versa.


The maximum number of students per class is 12, and the minimum is 4.
If the number of students per class is less than 4, the school will reduce the total class hours by half.

General Conditions:

  • The duration of each class is 50 minutes.
  • The maximum number of students per class is 12, and the minimum is 4.
  • Study materials are included for levels A1, A2, and B1. Levels B2 and C1 require a book, €24.
  • Students with some knowledge of Spanish can start every Monday.
  • Beginners must check the start dates.

In this session we will talk about the stages of life, personal and professional goals and above all the priorities of each one, depending on the life circumstances. To do this, we will express feelings and talk about what is important to people, depending on their culture and age.

In this session we will address the issue of sharing space and living with other people, (friends, family), and reflect on the rules of the house, tasks, the ideal companion, the area of the city where it is best to live, etc. We will give advice, talk about known and unknown things, evaluate proposals, accept or reject them.

In this session we will organize and plan a trip together, we will talk about different places on the planet, their climates, the way people are, their way of life, the type of trip or stay, what we need, etc. We will talk about the things we would never dare to do, what makes us feel comfortable and compare different ways of living.

In this session we will know and share tastes and musical preferences in order to create a list of great hits for a party with guests of different nationalities. In order to do so, we will expand our lexicon related to feelings, music and its genres and we will see some idiomatic expressions related to the topic.

In this session we will reflect on people’s moods, on good and bad days in our daily routine and on how the weather and seasons affect us. We will compare customs and different types of reactions in the face of adversity.

I enjoyed my classes at the Taronja school. I had nice teachers (Ne, Sa, Ya) and learned a lot of Spanish. I got a lot of attention from the teachers, the interns and the organizing staff. There are a lot of younger students (18-30) but I am sure middle-aged or older students have a lot of fun as well. I felt a little bit like back in school 18 years ago. I enjoyed this feeling.There are many activities during the week. You get the chance to talk a lot of Spanish (if you want to talk Spanish). I can't understand most bad recommendations. If you want high-educated native speakers with classes of 4 persons and the very same Spanish level someone has to tell me a country in Europe where you get this below 800 Euros a week! The price-performance ratio is very good, in my opinion. I am sure for the money you pay you get a Spanish boost and a good time (I can't say anything about the accommodations, because I stayed somewhere private). I sometimes have the feeling that in the eyes of foreigners spanish teachers and staff are expected to work for small salaries (instead of a fair salaries). Maybe this is something to reflect on and everybody is free to invest in private lessons. The new school building is very, very nice! I strongly recommend this school (also for students older than 30)!

4 week intensive course I spent 4 weeks at Taronja on their intensive course (20hrs/week with 4hrs of lessons each day). Class times alternated between the morning and afternoon which meant plenty of free time to enjoy the city. The teachers made sure lessons were interesting and varied, and organised lots of different activities during the evenings at which you were encouraged to practice speaking Spanish. I would highly recommend Taronja!

Great school, excellent oprganization and wonderful teachers. I dont know how it is in high season (July, August), but in June there were small groups of 3 - 7 people, which gave the opportunity to speak frequently. The teachers spoke only Spanish which was a great lesson. I spent two weeks there and regret that it was so short. I highly recommend!

Amazing school that is well managed and organized. Teachers are well prepared and engaged. School is also organizing extracurricular activities which are either educational or fun and I enjoyed both types. I had also opportunity to stay in one of the school shared flats. They are simple but clean and perfect for the time of stay. I highly recommend! If I could, I would definitely stay at school for a few months. I hope to be back at some point and do another course.

I’ve studied at Taronja in Valencia for almost 3 weeks now and I already don’t want to leave. The teachers are nice and I felt really welcomed since I first stepped trough the schools doors! Outside of school there are activities organised by the school almost everyday. So don’t bring too many books with you, there will be enough to do here 😉
