We have rotating schedules, for example:
Some groups will have classes on Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings and Thursday and Friday afternoons. This schedule will change the following week so that all students can enjoy “2 free mornings” and “3 free afternoons” each week, and vice versa.


The maximum number of students per class is 12, and the minimum is 4.
If the number of students per class is less than 4, the school will reduce the total class hours by half.

General Conditions:

  • The duration of each class is 50 minutes.
  • The maximum number of students per class is 12, and the minimum is 4.
  • Study materials are included for levels A1, A2, and B1. Levels B2 and C1 require a book, €24.
  • Students with some knowledge of Spanish can start every Monday.
  • Beginners must check the start dates.

Our Spanish courses are designed to work on oral expression and interaction, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and written expression in a context of linguistic immersion. Each level has specific objectives and didactic content that is adapted to the needs of the students, guaranteeing constant progress in the learning of Spanish.

  • Level A1 (Beginners): Students learn to understand and use everyday expressions and basic phrases aimed at satisfying concrete needs.
  • Level A2 (Basic): The student will deepen his or her understanding and use of sentences and frequent expressions necessary for simple, everyday tasks.
  • Level B1 (Intermediate): This level focuses on students’ ability to deal with everyday situations and to understand more complex texts.
  • Level B2 (Intermediate-Advanced): Students learn to understand the main ideas of complex texts and to communicate fluently and spontaneously.
  • Level C1 (Advanced): A level of proficiency is reached at which students can understand a wide range of long and complex texts and express ideas fluently and structured.

Zig-zag Schedules

Some of the groups will have classes in the morning on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The rest of the groups on the contrary. This will change every week, so that all students will be able to enjoy 2-3 free mornings and 2-3 free afternoons every week.

You will get a certificate of the course at the end of your stay

This certificate will indicate the number of hours completed and the level of Spanish proficiency achieved in our courses, always following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

To obtain the certificate it is essential to have attended 80% of the course classes.

much more than a school Die Schule ist sehr zentral gelegen. Ich fühlte mich von Anfang an rundum wohl. Die Gestaltung der Räume hat mich sehr angesprochen. Alle Mitarbeiter machten einen sehr zufriedenen Eindruck und der Ablauf war sehr gut organisiert. Mein Lernerfolg war nach zwei Wochen höher als in einer vergleichbaren Schule. Die Leher und Lehrerinnen waren engagiert und jeder konnte seine Talente mit einbringen. Sie arbeiten nicht mit einem Arbeitsbuch sondern haben ein eigenes Konzept und eigene Skripte. Neben dem Unterricht wurden tolle Aktivitäten angeboten. Ich komme wieder.

Moderne en leuke manier van lesgeven Ik heb hier twee weken een cursus gevolgd en wat me vooral opviel is dat er op een moderne manier wordt les gegeven. Niet 'ouderwets' uit saaie boeken maar met steeds wisselende soorten oefeningen en gericht op de praktijk.
De staff en leraren zij over het algemeen erg enthousiast wat de hele ervaring exra leuk maakt.

It has a more speaking approach instead of an examination. They want you to be fluent not pass a test.

Wunderbare Schule und tolle Erfahrung! Ich war zwei Wochen in Taronja und kann die Schule nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Die Leser sind alle sehr gut und sympathisch, der Unterricht ist sehr interaktiv und digital und man lernt sehr viel in kurzer Zeit. Die Schule organisiert unter der Woche und am Wochenende zahlreiche Freizeitaktivitäten, bei denen man Spanisch übt, die Umgebung entdecken kann und viele unvergessliche Momente erlebt.

Most fun & family like school where you learn in a super fun way I was only here for 1 week, but I had the best time ever! The Spanish classes are made really fun, but you also honestly learn a lot, even in 1 week. We played games to learn words, grammar and pronunciation. The two teachers I had (Carol y Pablo) we’re really nice and funny.
The school also offers a lot of activities which are almost free, in this way you can make friends really fast and thats super nice, especially when you come here on your own.
The school itself is right in the city centre, so thats honestly a beautiful location. Everyone should visit Valencia once in their life because the vibes are amazing.
I would defenitely recommend this to anyone who wants to learn Spanish, the school almost feels like a family. I am already planning when I can come back:).

Taronja is a really nice school to learn Spanish. I would definitely recommend this when you are looking for a opportunity to study Spanish in Spain. The atmosphere is very chill and friendly, teachers like teaching and helping you. They also offer lots of fun activities everyday which you can participate in voluntarily. This helps you in meeting so many new people. I really enjoyed my time at Taronja, and I would like to return if I can 😉

After being with Taronja for a couple of years now online I decided to take the plunge and do their immersion course in Valencia, which, for a 54 year old, filled me with apprehension !! I have to say it’s one of the best things I’ve done to progress and improve my Spanish, the schools new location was ideal situated at the edge of the old town near the Turia park. The facilities in the building and classrooms were excellent with information screens, whiteboards and air conditioning also there is great chill out space on the ground floor to relax in !! The standard of teaching was excellent with varied topics and wide ranging conversations and discussions with time taken to explain things if you weren’t quite sure or needed clarification on vocabulary or grammar. I had 4 teachers in total, including the conversational workshops, and I can’t praise them enough, they were all absolutely fantastic. I must also give special mentions to the reception and activities teams who were friendly, professional, helpful and a joy to deal with on a daily basis with nothing being too much trouble. All in all a fantastic experience one which I hope to repeat in the future.. Well done Taronja ☺️

Excellent school that really focuses on the community element for the students. Teachers get involved in the activities, which is a cool sight to see, as you can get to know them outside the classroom. The lessons are well done also, as each teacher brings a different style. I also love the format of the schedule, in that, the time of classes swaps daily, and so does your teacher. Keeps things fresh. Lastly, Stefano is an EXCELLENT activity coordinator! He really enjoys being around the students and is professional.
