Spanish Subjunctive Present: wishes
To express wishes in Spanish, we use the subjunctive present. Want to know how to use it?
The present subjunctive is one of the most difficult verb forms for students of Spanish. Not because it is a very complicated form or has many irregular verbs, but because its use can sometimes be quite confusing. But, there is one of these uses that you will never forget, and that is to express wishes:
Quiero que + PRESENTE DE SUBJUNTIVO
Deseo que + PRESENTE DE SUBJUNTIVO
Espero que + PRESENTE DE SUBJUNTIVO
Ojalá (que) + PRESENTE DE SUBJUNTIVO
For example:

Nu alweer zin in! leer menos

I have learned a lot en espagñol!
Before my course I could speak nada, but afterwards not directly fluently, but I can talk with people and friends now de España, who I met here during my stay and of participating on actividades de escuela.
Everybody is very polite and open for questions, especially about espagñol 🙂
Summary I would choose this escuela otra vez!
¡Hasta luego! leer menos

I only did one week intensive and am already signing up to do more lessons. The classes are interesting and fun. The teachers are enthusiastic. Also the daily activities are really well organised. Fully recommend for anyone - no questions asked 🙂 leer menos

I've contacted them to ask an information what levels of Taronja school Spanish language courses (named like intermediate/advanced, lower intermediate, intermediate, advanced, etc.) correspond to the officially recognised B2.2 level. They told me that they cannot tell this, but teachers will decide on my level and have sent me loads of unnecessary advertisement. Then I repeated my question, that I need to know specifically this question and that I do not ask about MY level, I ask which one of their levels correspond to the officially recognised B2.2 level. Following six more email exchanges, they still repeated me the same useless information and did not provide a reply to the question which I asked. What a waste of time and disrespect of people. I doubt if this school corresponds to Cervantes method and that they would be able to issue a certificate indicating the officially recognised language levels. It did not sound trustful at all, in additional to much higher prices of their courses than in the other language schools in Valencia. leer menos
